"And sure enough, you see the episode, and you're like, 'Wow, how great, how great.' It all makes sense. It's heartwarming to know that things can be made without a lot of stress or off-camera drama." Read the rest after the jump...
Asked whether or not George is dangerous, Gedrick says, "That's a very subjective question. The general consensus would be that I might not be the nicest guy. However, from my point of view, I would say that would be a very misunderstood perception of me, that I'm capable of very nice things.
"But the not-so-distant affiliation with the Russian mob, is probably another tip-off."
As smoothly as things go on-set, Gedrick says it's going to be a wild ride for the viewers.
"As soon as you think you're in a secure place," he says, "and you're on track where the writers are going, they left-turn it for you, hardcore. They U-turn it for you. It was really fun to read each additional script.
"Even as an actor, you think you might have some sense of where it's going, and sure enough, it would go in a completely different direction. They really upped the bar this season."
Gedrick also has a lot of respect for Hall, saying, "I have to go, 'My God, it seems to come so easy to that guy.' He is just so centered and steady, there's just something about him. Then when you see him work, you see this manic energy inside him. You see this wild, unpredictable, unrehearsed spark and inspiration in the character.
"He maintains it, so it's not over the top. It's really sophisticated work, yet wildly free. It's amazing."
