Could it be a major crime scene in 1991 Miami?
Earlier today, we shared a collection of images on here on Dexter Daily from Tuesday, July 16, featuring Patrick Dempsey, Alex Shimizu, and Sarah Michelle Gellar arriving at the scheduled filming location in Los Angeles.
A new photo has now emerged, showing Patrick Dempsey and Reno Wilson between takes. The actors, who portray Miami Metro's Captain Aaron Spencer and Detective Bobby Watt respectively, were seen together outside a property on the Los Angeles set.
The presence of Miami Metro's captain suggests that a major crime scene might be unfolding there. It seems a new antagonist is creating mayhem in Miami.

In the bottom left corner, an old-school Miami Metro police car is visible. Patrick Dempsey is wearing the same clothes as in the photos with Sarah Michelle Gellar, with the addition of his Captain badge on his belt.
