"We were different guys in our 20s," Christian Slater remarked about Patrick Dempsey.
Christian Slater spoke with Entertainment Tonight at the Los Angeles premiere of Blink Twice, sharing his excitement about reuniting with Patrick Dempsey for the upcoming series Dexter: Original Sin. The reunion comes more than 30 years after they co-starred in the 1991 gangster film Mobsters.
Reflecting on his experience with Dexter: Original Sin, Slater praised the project, saying, "It's been great. The writing is incredible. Clyde Phillips, who developed the original show, is amazing, and... I don't know... I'm loving it."
When asked by ET's Cassie DiLaura about teaming up with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Patrick Dempsey—his Mobsters co-star—Slater expressed his surprise at how much time had passed. "I hadn't seen Patrick in about thirty years, and also the director Michael Lehmann, who did Heathers. So it's been nice to come back around. A lot of time has passed, a lot of growing, a lot of experience. We were different guys in our 20s."
