2024 has been quite a year for Christian Slater. Not only has he been cast as Harry Morgan in the prequel to one of his favorite TV shows, but he also recently welcomed his fourth child.
A couple of weeks ago, it was revealed that the 54-year-old Dexter: Original Sin star Christian Slater and his wife Brittany Lopez quietly welcomed their second child together, as confirmed by PEOPLE.
Details about the baby's gender have not yet been disclosed, but it was confirmed that the baby was born in July, during the time Slater was filming the first few episodes of the Dexter prequel in L.A.
This marks the couple's second child since their marriage in 2013. They are also parents to a 5-year-old daughter. Additionally, Christian is the father of 22-year-old daughter Eliana and 25-year-old son Jaden, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Ryan Haddon.
Slater recently opened up about being a father at this stage in his life: “Wow. I mean, it's just different. The whole thing is different. I'm certainly a lot more present and I just love it.”
“I think I was more scared of it the first go around and a little bit more confused, and I was very distracted and now, it's all I really think about, and all I really care about, and all I want to be around. I'm happy to be in that situation.”
