Dexter: Original Sin, the highly anticipated prequel series, set 15 years before the events of the original show, is currently in production in Los Angeles. We’ve got some exciting new set photos for you, probably captured on Friday, August 9.
In the images from Backgrid below, you can see Molly Brown, Christian Slater, and Patrick Gibson—the actors who play Deb, Harry, and Dexter, respectively—filming scenes in Los Angeles. Unlike previous set photos, these shots all depict scenes from the show's current timeline, which is set in 1991.
Molly Brown, who plays a 17-year-old Deb Morgan, is styled in a quintessential early 1990s outfit. Christian Slater, portraying Sergeant Harry Morgan of Miami Metro PD, is seen in his character’s typical attire. Patrick Gibson, embodying a young Dexter, seems to be enjoying his time on set, as he’s seen playfully interacting with the cast and crew.
