POLL: What Are Your Thoughts on the New 'Dexter: Original Sin' Title Sequence?

It's been exactly three weeks since the Dexter: Original Sin intro was unveiled at SDCC.

Dexter: Original Sin, the highly anticipated prequel, is set to debut this December. The series takes us back to 1991, when Dexter Morgan first joined Miami Metro as an intern and committed his very first human kill.

During the panel for the prequel at San Diego Comic-Con three weeks ago, it was revealed that Michael C. Hall will return to the Dexter franchise as the inner voice of young Dexter, played by Patrick Gibson. This announcement was accompanied by the unveiling of the new title sequence for Dexter: Original Sin, which is packed with callbacks and Easter eggs from the original series.

One major difference this time around is that Dexter is still living with Harry and Deb, so the morning routine in the intro isn’t just about him. This is why Christian Slater (Harry) and Molly Brown (Deb) are also featured in the new sequence.

Regarding the intro's duration, we're not entirely certain if it is the final version, as it may have been shortened for the SDCC presentation. As for the music, this time we get a remix of Rolfe Kent's iconic Dexter intro theme. It’s not clear if Kent himself did the remix.
