Although the teaser was brief, running less than 30 seconds, it introduced several new characters and teased younger versions of familiar faces, including Masuka, Batista, LaGuerta, and others. The trailer was set to the track "Satisfaction Fergalicious Remix" by Lansen Holloway.
One of the most thrilling moments was hearing none other than Michael C. Hall's voice, delivering fresh lines from the upcoming season:
