Entertainment Weekly just dropped a first look at Dempsey and Gellar in their new roles.
Dexter: Original Sin, the prequel series set in 1991 Miami, is currently filming in Los Angeles. After weeks of silence, we finally have some exciting news about the show, which is set to premiere this December.
Entertainment Weekly has exclusively shared two new stills from an unknown episode of Dexter: Original Sin Season 1, offering the first official look at Patrick Dempsey as Aaron Spencer and Sarah Michelle Gellar as Tanya Martin. Both actors portray Miami Metro officers, and the images show them at a crime scene in Miami.
On the left side of the image below, you can spot James Martinez as Angel Batista. The focus is on Patrick Dempsey, which is why Batista appears blurred. Behind Dempsey is Christina Milian as Maria LaGuerta, though she is unfortunately not clearly visible in the shot.
The second image features Sarah Michelle Gellar as Tanya Martin, sporting a distinct early 1990s look. For those unfamiliar, Gellar’s character in Dexter: Original Sin holds the same job that Dexter Morgan had in the original series.
