New set photos from the sequel offer a first glimpse at two new characters.
A new week has begun, and the cast of Dexter: Resurrection has officially entered week 7 of production in New York City. Michael C. Hall and his co-stars continue filming scenes across the Big Apple, with fresh set images recently surfacing online.
Among the returning actors spotted on set are Jack Alcott and James Remar, alongside Hall. Meanwhile, fans got their first look at Uma Thurman’s character, Charley, just two weeks ago while she was filming in a Bronx neighborhood.
Where is David Zayas?
Despite being nearly two months into production, there has been no sign of David Zayas on set. As a reminder, Angel Batista will have a series regular role in Dexter: Resurrection—a stark contrast to his brief two-episode appearance in Dexter: New Blood.
Newly Announced Cast Members Spotted on Set
Today's set photos, while not brand new, highlight two actors officially announced just 10 days ago—Kadia Saraf and Dominic Fumusa. Interestingly, these images date back to January 27, 2025—three weeks before their casting was made public. That same day, Michael C. Hall, James Remar, and Jack Alcott were also spotted filming in downtown New York.
Who Are Kadia Saraf & Dominic Fumusa Playing?
Both Saraf and Fumusa portray NYPD detectives in the upcoming sequel series:
- Kadia Saraf plays Detective Claudette Wallace, described as a sharp, methodical investigator known for her laser-focused determination.
- Dominic Fumusa portrays Detective Melvin Oliva, Wallace’s partner and the only person who truly understands her unique approach to solving cases.
