Behind the scenes of London Thatcher’s Dexter-themed celebration party.
After a thrilling ten-week run, Dexter: Original Sin wrapped up its first season on Valentine’s Day with a gripping and revelatory finale penned by showrunner Clyde Phillips. The episode was packed with intense moments, including the climactic showdown between 20-year-old Dexter Morgan and the season’s primary antagonist, Aaron Spencer—portrayed by none other than Patrick Dempsey.
Although Aaron Spencer is the Captain of Miami Metro PD and has maintained decades-long friendships with colleagues like Harry Morgan, he has committed some truly despicable acts—particularly against his own son, Nicky Spencer—as a twisted form of revenge against his ex-wife.
London Thatcher’s Standout Performance as Nicky Spencer
Bringing Nicky Spencer to life is young and talented actor London Thatcher, who has been acting for just three years. Despite his relatively short time in the industry and his young age, London delivered an outstanding performance, particularly in the season’s emotionally charged and demanding scenes.
To celebrate his milestone, London's friends and family gathered in Southern California on February 15th, one day after the Dexter: Original Sin Season 1 finale, titled "Code Blues." This special event marked the completion of his first major television role. After signing with his team in February 2024 to pursue TV and film, London secured the role in Dexter: Original Sin and commemorated the achievement with a Dexter-themed celebration.
A Dexter-Themed Celebration to Remember
Guests at the party enjoyed a night filled with themed treats, pizza, and cupcakes while watching a reel of London’s best moments from the show. A heartwarming highlight of the evening was a surprise compilation of messages from the cast and crew, including video greetings from Patrick Gibson (Dexter Morgan) and Reno Wilson (Bobby Watt). A special behind-the-scenes montage showcasing fun moments on set was also shared.
London’s mother, Alexia—who also manages his Instagram account—graciously provided Dexter Daily with exclusive images from the afterparty, which was impressively curated with creative and immersive Dexter-inspired elements. Keep scrolling to check them all out!
