It's official, Dexter fans—Peter Dinklage is joining the cast of the Dexter sequel!
Just in: Exciting news, Dexter fans! Peter Dinklage, best known for his iconic role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, has officially joined the cast of Dexter: Resurrection. This confirms the long-standing rumors that began circulating in November!
Dinklage will play Leon Prater, a billionaire venture capitalist. While Prater presents himself to the world as a generous philanthropist, there’s much more lurking beneath his polished exterior—a man with dark and mysterious motives.
According to Deadline, Prater’s storyline will intertwine with Charley, played by Uma Thurman, his loyal head of security. Charley, a former Special Ops officer, has a history in high-level private security and serves as Prater’s resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman.
Peter Dinklage becomes the sixth major actor to join Dexter: Resurrection, following the return of fan-favorite stars Michael C. Hall, David Zayas, Jack Alcott, and James Remar, who will reprise their iconic roles as Dexter Morgan, Angel Batista, Harrison Morgan, and Harry Morgan, respectively.
Could Leon Prater be the new antagonist in Dexter: Resurrection Season 1? Only time will tell.
