It looks like the primary key art used throughout Season 1's run of the prequel was omitted.
Mark your calendars, Dexter fans! June 10 is a significant date, as it's when Dexter: Original Sin Season 1 officially becomes available for purchase. Just like Dexter: New Blood, the prequel series will be released in Blu-ray, DVD, and a special limited-edition SteelBook format.
Each edition comes as a three-disc set. Notably, the Blu-ray version is available in Full HD 1080p but does not support 4K.
Today, we’re excited to unveil the official cover art for the Blu-ray and DVD editions. Surprisingly, the artwork does not feature the split-key design with Michael C. Hall that was prominently used in promotional materials during the show's airing. Instead, it showcases a reimagined version of the iconic Dexter Season 1 key art, along with the group kill-room promotional photo featuring Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, Christina Milian, Patrick Dempsey, and Sarah Michelle Gellar.
