Here’s the second Dexter: New Blood actor confirmed to reprise their role in Resurrection!
It’s official, Dexter fans! Another returning actor from previous seasons has been confirmed for the highly anticipated Dexter: Resurrection, set to premiere this summer.
David Magidoff, who played Officer Teddy Reed in Dexter: New Blood, will reprise his role in the upcoming series. In the original 10-episode run, Reed was a rookie at the Iron Lake Police Department, having only been on the force for three weeks. According to Deadline, Magidoff will have a recurring role in Dexter: Resurrection, meaning fans can expect to see him in multiple episodes.
This marks the second confirmed returning actor from Dexter: New Blood, following Jack Alcott, who will once again play Harrison. However, Julia Jones—who portrayed Angela Bishop, Dexter’s girlfriend and Iron Lake’s Chief of Police—has yet to be announced, leaving fans wondering if she’ll make a surprise return.
Back in October, we at Dexter Daily speculated on which Dexter: New Blood actors might return for Dexter: Resurrection, and David Magidoff was on our list.
Filming is now in its tenth consecutive week in New York City, and more exciting updates are just around the corner. Stay tuned to Dexter Daily for all the latest news on Dexter: Resurrection!
