The cast of the Dexter sequel just got even stronger!
Production on Dexter: Resurrection has officially entered its 10th week, and the star-studded cast continues to grow! The latest addition to the highly anticipated sequel series is veteran actor Steve Schirripa, best known for his role as Bobby ‘Baccala’ Baccalieri in HBO’s iconic crime drama The Sopranos.
According to Variety, which exclusively broke the news, Schirripa will take on the role of Vinny, a 'greedy slumlord'.
Schirripa joins an already impressive lineup as Dexter: Resurrection takes shape. Set in New York City, the sequel series follows the events of Dexter: New Blood, continuing the legacy of the beloved franchise.
Beyond The Sopranos, Schirripa has an extensive career in television. He recently starred as Detective Anthony Abetemarco on CBS’ long-running police procedural Blue Bloods and was a series regular on ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
