The series is set to make its return to New York City's iconic Times Square next Monday.
Production on the highly anticipated series Dexter: Resurrection, starring Michael C. Hall, is now 16 weeks underway — and everything is moving smoothly. The series remains on track to wrap filming in the first few days of June 2025, keeping fans on the edge of their seats for what’s next.
As a brand-new week kicks off on set, an exciting new casting call has been announced by the well-known New York City casting agency, Waldron Casting. They are currently seeking background actors for several upcoming scenes to be filmed in NYC.
What makes this casting call even more thrilling is that, much like the previous one we shared here on Dexter Daily over the weekend, it is open to non-union individuals. That means anyone — whether experienced or new to the industry — has the chance to participate! Of course, applicants must first be selected by the casting agency.
In even more exciting news, after nearly two months, Dexter: Resurrection will return to film scenes in the iconic Times Square — one of the busiest and most recognizable locations in New York City. The last time the production was spotted there was on March 6th, when Michael C. Hall and two other cast members were seen shooting scenes we covered at the time, including some spoilery set photos.
However, the atmosphere in Times Square will be quite different this time. With spring now in full bloom, cast and crew can expect much warmer weather compared to the chilly conditions they faced back in early March.
Filming Details:
- Date: Monday, May 5th
- Roles Needed: Extras to portray restaurant diners and theatergoers
- Locations: Both interior and exterior shoots (which means there's a strong chance for fresh set photos — especially given the heavy foot traffic around Times Square!)
