Michael C. Hall & Krysten Ritter Spotted in Dexter: Resurrection Night Shoots

The two actors appeared in high spirits while filming night scenes for the sequel series.

Week 13 of filming for Dexter: Resurrection in New York City officially wraps today. Over the past three months, countless behind-the-scenes set photos have surfaced online, showing the cast—especially Michael C. Hall—clearly enjoying their time on set.

Nearly every confirmed cast member has now been spotted filming scenes for the upcoming Dexter revival, and fan excitement continues to grow as new images make their way online. Unsurprisingly, the actor seen most frequently on set is Michael C. Hall, who returns as the iconic titular character, Dexter Morgan.

Last night, April 10, Hall was once again seen in downtown Manhattan, this time filming scenes with co-star Krysten Ritter, who plays a new character named Mia. The two were spotted sharing laughs and enjoying their time between takes, suggesting great on-screen chemistry.

Wondering why these latest photos look so different from earlier (and spoilery) ones featuring Mia? It turns out the scenes captured last night are from Episode 5, while previous images were from Episode 6. It seems that Dexter: Resurrection is filming scenes out of sequence—likely for logistical reasons, such as location availability.

In the newly released photos, Hall is dressed in a sleek all-black outfit—black cap, hoodie, pants, and shoes—very similar to what he wore in previous Times Square scenes. Ritter’s character Mia sports a bold look with a leather jacket over an animal-print shirt that pops with Lady Vengeance-inspired red tones.
